Your carnage has spread far and wide,
We’re sick of your presence, and want you to blow,
So, enough! Countless many have died.
You sure are a devious, ornery foe,
Your contagiousness makes it quite clear,
If it’s you versus us, then it’s you who must go,
So we can relinquish our fears.
The trillions you’ve cost the whole planet thus far,
Is stunning in scope and in scale,
The thousands of lives you have taken away,
This must end, we simply can’t fail.
So we’ve taken this on, every person on Earth,
We’ve picked up our swords and our shields,
We must all go to battle, to win our lives back,
Then our fates will no longer be sealed.
If we want to succeed, and prevail and survive,
Or just want to get back to work,
We must do this together, just like a beehive,
It’s a duty that no one can shirk.
We must follow the rules, share our insights and tools,
If we don’t, after that, Covid sets all the rules.
So, please wash your hands and don’t touch your face,
Self isolate and we might win this race.
Be determined and strong, don’t let your guard down,
If we do this, tranquility and peace will be found.
If we don’t, then the world will remain upside down.
And it’s the only comfortable planet around.
